What’s Office 365?
Have you been receiving emails from Cobb County about something called Office 365? Office 365 is the online version of the Microsoft Office tools suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). If you give your consent, your child can have FREE access to these online tools OR you can download the desktop/laptop versions for FREE, or both! By giving your child this access, teachers and students can collaborate with each other, students can work on class technology projects at home, and teachers can even have a place to post assignments and review what was covered in class. The next time you receive the Office 365 email, just click on the link provided to sign up and give consent (you can also give consent by clicking the Office 365 link in ParentVUE). When you give consent, you can choose to have both the Microsoft Office online tools and download the laptop/desktop tools to your home devices, or just download the Microsoft Office tools to your home devices. And you can download those tools to as many as five devices. Help your child develop the technology skills students need in the 21st century! Click here for more information
